Data & Server Security
Our Servers are kept in secure Data Centers. However, their physical control cannot be done by us outside of the machines we have in full possession. Their programming process is carried out with all the prescribed procedures and all the security measures needed to protect them from hacking actions are taken.
IMBNET has in cooperation with each Data Center 24-hour monitoring procedures and also monitoring programs for any problem that may arise.
However, it is completely different from the security of your website or e-shop. You should also take appropriate security measures on your side such as firewalls, security certificates, code scanning programs, etc. in order to preserve their integrity.
The servers are accessed using encryption procedures, double passwords and other forms of security in order to keep them as secure as possible.
IMBNET personnel have been classified regarding their access and are granted access only to those areas deemed necessary for the implementation of the work.
Regarding the maintenance of our customers’ servers or sites, if there is a maintenance contract, the customer has specific access and is included in the same rating. In case of termination of the contract or release of our company from this service, these codes are surrendered and IMBNET automatically ceases to bear any responsibility.
Data Security and Support
In case of an active support package, IMBNET has access to your passwords and personal information such as Facebook, Google Accounts etc. Their management and safekeeping is done with all the prescribed security methods, such as security applications with a central locking code, which respectively falls under classified access.
In the course of our cooperation, information is exchanged that relates to various data that may directly or indirectly identify you or your business. Direct processing of data is followed by secure storage of the data in case it is deemed appropriate for future use and immediately after destruction of the means of transmission e.g. Email or SMS.
Facilities Infrastructure
IMBNET’s facilities have full building and digital security as well as data exchange encryption. The computers are in a secure environment and their programs and operating systems are fully updated and protected by local and perimeter firewalls. In the event of an attempt to enforce them or destroy them, the data can be reproduced through encrypted backup systems carried out with special software, applying encryption algorithms that have so far been impossible to break.
Instructions
Data security, let alone personal data, is a daily effort and does not stop at a few measures. We are constantly updating our facilities with new measures and upgrading old systems with more modern ones. However, data security is a two-way street, since the same data is most often owned and managed by the customer, with few exceptions. That’s why we suggest some guidelines to protect yourself and your personal information.

– Your computing devices that access your data contain programs that are legally installed with all the latest updates as well as antivirus, trojans and firewalls.

– Do not keep emails or SMS containing your personal information or information of third parties.
– Apply double verification methods where possible.

Customer Portal – Service Management
IMBNET has a system for recording – updating services in terms of expiry dates and costs. This system is located at https://members.imbnet.gr.
This can be accessed by all customers for information on the above. According to this system, the customer is informed for annual services one month in advance, while for monthly services, about 5 days in advance, by issuing and sending a proforma invoice, which describes the service, the dates and the cost.
From release onwards there are about 2 to 3 updates until the expiry date. If you do not renew the services, the system first deactivates the service and in the following period of time, which does not exceed one month in most cases, but less in some services, deletes it.
We would like to ask you to pay special attention to these end of service warning emails because they are not monitored but are automated. IMBNET does not inform by telephone about the termination of these services.
If you have already paid the amount, you should inform the company by emailing either office@imbnet.gr or it@imbnet.gr attaching a copy of the payment.
Payment should be made at least 5 days before the expiry date otherwise there is a possibility that the information will not be communicated in time. If the service is not renewed in time, especially for domains, there are extra charges, which in some cases exceed 100€.
For the case of the hosting service, if it exceeds 1 month from the expiration date the files are completely deleted and to restore them, when possible, the cost is quite high and in some others impossible. There is therefore a risk of permanent deletion of the data without the possibility of recovery.
For Social Media support cases, if the service is terminated, the tasks stop running with implications for their proper functioning and thus the promotion of the business. As for the Google AdWords promotion service, the ads as well as the setup is deactivated and thus deleted and there is a new initial cost for the reset.
Messages are sent to the email address you have registered with the company for contact.
Finally, in this account you have registered an email and a phone number. If these details change, you must inform us in time for us to update your account in time. As you have already been informed, sensitive data is sent to this email and mobile phone. If you have not updated your account in time, there is a serious chance that this data could end up in the hands of third parties. In this case IMBNET is not liable in any way.
