Boost Post over or is there a solution?
If you use an iPhone, forget about paying directly via Apple Pay or the card you have registered in Wallet.
You can of course continue to pay, as long as you don’t mind the exorbitant commission. Apple withholds an additional 30% from your advertising budget, reducing the amount you actually invest in your ads.

How to avoid it step by step
1. Use a browser instead of an app
To make a boost post, connect through a browser (PC or mobile).
Avoid Facebook and Instagram apps, as that’s where Apple’s fee applies.
📌Important: Make sure you remember your Facebook and Instagram logins. If you have forgotten them, reset your password.
Connect to Facebook or Instagram via browser and complete the process. Meta may require two-factor authentication through the app to proceed.

2. Confirm your card
Once you proceed, you will see your registered card. This means that the payment will be made directly from it and not through Apple Pay.
Alternatively, if you have chosen PayPal as your primary method, you can use it.
3. Login via Business.facebook.com or Ads Manager
Instead of buying advertising budget from the application, go to business.facebook.com or Ads Manager via browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge) and pay from there. Thus, you avoid the App Store fee.
4. Use PayPal or bank transfer
Instead of paying by card from the App Store, you can choose PayPal or bank transfer through Ads Manager.
5. Change payment method in Meta
If your card is linked to the App Store and you’re automatically charged by Apple, change your payment method via Payment Settings in Ads Manager.

Why does Apple get a commission?
Apple imposes this fee to control payments made through apps on iOS. That’s why companies like Meta encourage users to pay through a browser instead of the app.
