Project: Workers’ Union “o Hippocrates”
It is a great pleasure for us that we present the new website of the Health Workers’ Union “O Ippokrates”, a project created with the aim of better informing and communicating with the public of the members of the union.
The “Hippocrates” Society was founded on December 19, 1975 at the Hygeia clinic in Marousi, Attica. Today it has approximately 1,000 members and is managed by a 9-member committee, chaired by Mr. Nikolao Akakio .
In the context of the modernization of the union’s communication, it was decided to reorganize its digital presence, with the main focus being the creation of a modern website and the better use of Social Media.
The project challenge
Konstantinos Sklavounis, Co-Founder of IMBnet Agency, visited the Association’s premises and discussed with the members, recording in detail their needs and priorities.
Through this process, a complete proposal was designed that would strengthen the presence and work of the union on the internet.
One of the main difficulties of the project was the lack of access to older digital media, such as old social media accounts and the previous website. The new management members did not have full access to several of these platforms, which required a complete reorganization of the union’s digital presence.
The solutions we implemented
Our team proceeded with a series of actions to create a stable and organized digital base:
● Registration of a new domain name somateio-ippokratis.gr
● Creation of new Social Media where necessary
● Manage and restore access to old accounts where possible
● Collection and organization of articles and material to create content for the new website
● Training of members in the use and management of Social Media
Implementation
As part of the collaboration, we were assigned:
● The construction of the new website
● The organization and creation of Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube)
● Creating content for the website
● The professional photographing of the members in the area of the Association
